Welcome to Emley First School

Dear Parents/Carers

I hope our website provides you with a flavour of the exciting opportunities our school has to offer. Through the hard work, dedication and commitment of our staff and governors we provide an educational environment that excites, nurtures and challenges each child, enabling all children to flourish and achieve their best.

We encourage our pupils to be lifelong learners; independent, adaptable, curious and able to make the most of the opportunities they are given. We are committed to raising academic standards through a broad, balanced, vibrant and stimulating curriculum and environment.

We see parents as our partners in the life of their child’s education and we hope that you will become fully involved in your child’s learning journey. We look forward to working in partnership with you to ensure the very best possible education for the children in our care.

Our doors open at 8:50am ready for a 9am start to the school day and our school day ends at 3:30pm therefore our children are in school for 32.5 hours a week.

If you would like to come and see us then please contact the main office via the details below

Kind regards

Mrs Helen Cameron

Another huge thank you to everyone who made this possible from organising the event, to going on lots of walks. As of end of school today, the Just Giving page has raised £304 and the final total will be announced after the holiday. Have a lovely Easter break,
